I am a motion and graphic designer with a passion for all things narrative.

meAs a storyteller, I look for the essence of complex concepts and seek out hidden connections.

I am particularly drawn to stories that push technological boundaries and explore human experiences.

In my spare time I like playing strategy games, chilling in eclectic cafes, and getting lost in science fiction.

Nice things people have said about me:

“It is rare to meet someone with Stephanie’s level of expertise, professionalism, and skill. Stephanie was responsible for all technical aspects of our project and guided the storytelling process. The final video far exceeded my (very high) expectations. Stephanie’s instincts make her an ideal collaborator and team member. I am so happy I had the privilege to work with her, and I hope we get to do it again!”
— Joan Hodges-Wu, AsylumWorks

“Stephanie created a short animated video for us. She was responsive and easy to work with, and the video was extremely well done despite our ambitious timeline. Stephanie provided the most valuable service that a freelancer can bring to a project, which was to understand the parameters, integrate feedback quickly and well, and deliver the final product on time and on budget. I would be happy to work with her again and can confidently recommend her for your project.”
— Theodore Talbot, Global Partnership for Education

“Stephanie wrote and designed and produced a beautiful video—while keeping the process simple and easy for us. (She also corrected a flub of mine quickly and graciously.)”
— Cindy Huang, The Center for Global Development

“Stephanie was impeccably responsive in driving the process, design, and deliverables for a gorgeous brochure to support the launch of our nonprofit’s new training initiative. Stephanie helped us to clarify our objectives and deepen our understanding of our target audience. She managed the project with transparency and feedback loops, and improved the product by tightening up the copy and applying an artist’s eye. Working with Stephanie really reinforced why a pro is worth it. By donating her skills, and treating us in exactly the same way she would treat a paying client, Stephanie demonstrated her commitment to social justice and allowed our nonprofit to prioritize its time for direct program services. If you have a chance to work with Stephanie, don’t hesitate!”
— Elizabeth Speck, Organizational Development for Social Justice, on behalf of MADE Transitional Services

“Always amazed at how clean and sharp your work is! CGD is lucky to have you.”
— Jocilyn Estes, The Center for Global Development
